Our Mission
urbanED solutions is a nonprofit organization committed to improving academic outcomes for children in historically-underserved urban centers across the country and to ensuring that children residing in these areas receive equitable educational experiences as they move through the public school system.
We support and partner with district leadership teams, charter management organizations, schools, education advocacy, and other organizations who are looking to boldly redefine the way in which they deal with chronically failing schools that goes beyond the incremental improvement approach to school change. We help these organizations to engage the community, develop the policies, build the systems, and implement high-leverage strategies to transform these schools into high-performing, high-functioning schools of choice, thus creating viable and powerful school options for families in every neighborhood.
